About the Organisation
The Society for Awareness and Transformation for Youthful Aspirations (SATYA) is a non-profit, development-oriented organisation committed to sustainable and inclusive social transformation. Established in 2023, SATYA works with young people, women, and marginalised and vulnerable communities to improve access to opportunities, enhance dignity, and promote well-being. The organisation focuses on empowering through awareness-raising, capacity building, skills development, and collaborative partnerships. SATYA believes that real transformation begins with awareness, education, and community participation. By integrating traditional knowledge with modern approaches, the organisation aims to build resilient communities capable of addressing contemporary socio-economic and environmental challenges.

Dr Suresh Sehgal – President
Onco-Plastic and Reconstructive, Hon. Medical Director, Head and Neck Cancer Institute, On
Dr Suresh Sehgal is a senior healthcare professional and social development advocate with extensive experience in oncology, plastic and reconstructive surgery, preventive and palliative care, and capacity building. He has been actively involved in designing and implementing health outreach programmes, awareness campaigns, and public health initiatives. His leadership focuses on integrating modern healthcare with community-based approaches to improve access to and the quality of care for marginalised and underserved populations.
Mr Mukesh Sabharwal – Vice President
Group CEO/Hospital Operations/Healthcare Growth &Transformation
Healthcare leader with 37+ years’ experience across hospitals, medical devices, eye care and pharma. Currently serving as Group CEO of the Ratan Jyoti group of hospitals, overseeing speciality hospitals, diagnostics, education and charitable healthcare institutions. Previously held leadership roles at Asian Heart Institute, Apollo Spectra Hospitals, Wassan Healthcare, Medford Hospitals and Bausch and Lomb. Mr Mukesh Sabharwal brings extensive experience in business management, corporate engagement and strategic partnerships. He plays a key role in strengthening CSR collaborations, mobilising resources and building institutional networks. His expertise enables the organisation to build sustainable partnerships and scale social initiatives for impact.
Dr Ranjana Sehgal – Secretary
POSH and CSR Consultant, Independent Director, former Professor and Principal
Dr. Ranjana Sehgal holds an MSW, PhD, and LLB. An eminent academic, social work professional, and HR specialist, she has over four decades of experience in teaching, research, mentoring, and curriculum development. A recipient of numerous national and international awards, she has made significant contributions to social work education, mental health awareness, and women’s empowerment. She serves as an Independent Director on the board of Zenith Drugs Ltd, a POSH and CSR Consultant, and an external member of the IC Committees of many organisations. She provides strategic direction, programme design, research guidance, and capacity-building support to the organisation.
Mr Anand Goud – Treasurer
Mr Anand Goud is responsible for financial management, compliance, and accountability. He ensures transparency, efficient resource utilisation, and adherence to statutory and CSR reporting standards.
Mr Prithvi Sehgal – Joint Secretary
Mr Prithvi Sehgal, the youngest member of the Governing Body, is the Business Development Manager at a market research company. He is actively engaged in youth development, digital outreach, and community engagement. He supports programme implementation, volunteer coordination, and innovative communication strategies to engage young people and promote social awareness.
Ms Chetna Shah – Member
Ms Chetna Shah has experience in community mobilisation, women’s empowerment, and grassroots development. She works closely with community groups, self-help collectives, and local stakeholders to strengthen participation across development programmes.
Ms Suman Gyani – Member
Ms Suman Gyani contributes to educational and social awareness initiatives, with a particular focus on skill development and the empowerment of marginalised communities. She supports grassroots training, outreach, and program facilitation.
Ms Anila Gangrade – Member
Ms Anila Gangrade holds an MSW, an MPHIL, and an MA in Psychology. She is a qualified counsellor and therapist with extensive experience in academic and clinical settings. She supports SATYA’s mental health initiatives, including awareness, promotion, and services within community outreach programmes. She plays a key role in mobilising and supporting adolescent health, as well as suicide and examination-stress prevention. She is the resource support for the programmes and training organised for positive mental health.
